Your privacy, in plain language

What we promise

• We cannot read your messages, calls or files.
• Everything you send is end-to-end encrypted with post-quantum cryptography.
• Your keys are made on your device and leave it only sealed, in a recovery backup or to a device you link.
• We do not sell or share your data. Subscriptions pay for the service.

What we hold

Your handle name, encrypted. A push token from Apple. Your plan. If you set up recovery, the email address you verified for it. Nothing else: no name, phone number, location or contacts. Usage statistics stay on your device.

How messages are protected

Each message is encrypted on your device with its own key, and the keys move on as you go, so an exposed key opens one message, not a conversation. The algorithms are the ones chosen to withstand quantum computers.

What you can do

• Export your data.
• Delete everything we hold, including backups.
• See what we hold about you.
• Object to any processing.
